earthquake in New Zealand

There are many reports of the damage caused by the earthquake in New Zealand. Here are links to some of them.

Sad to see the damaged churches . . . but of course ALL the church buildings are worth even one precious life {thinks of Haiti, Pakistan}.

For any of you who might be concerned about us in Christchurch; there are still the odd after-shocks - some quite extensive, but things seem to be less distressful. One good thing has come out of this - neighbourliness seems to be on the increase, and local university students are pitching in to help clear up the mess. Deo Gratias.
