Faith in Conflict conference

The Faith in Conflict conference “Finding Better Ways to Handle Conflict in the Church” was held in Coventry Cathedral this week.

The Archbishop of Canterbury gave this address at the closing Eucharist.

The address by ABC Justin Welby is very engaging. His sources (see footnotes) include Karl Barth, Roman Catholics and the Society of Friends and an Islamic scholar. On this one, anyway, good stuff for our times and context.

It will be very interesting to see how schismatics in North America will now treat their fellow dissident (Fr.Baucum) on his return from ‘feasting with the enemy’ at Coventry Cathedral. I hear the torches are already being lit in ACNA.
