Bishop of Hereford to retire

Anthony Priddis, the Bishop of Hereford, has announced that he will retire on 24 September 2013.

He was Stonewall's Bigot of the Year in 2008 after the sacking of that gay youth worker (how much did that cost the diocese in the end?), but had ordained a trans woman. So points for being ok on trans issues, and bad on gay issues - an unusual combo!
