New Scottish Primus elected

Today the Episcopal Synod of the Scottish Episcopal Church elected the Rt Rev Mark Strange, Bishop of Moray, Ross and Caithness as Primus, as reported here.

The word from the land of my ancestors is that this new Primus is a very good thing. It may be interesting to see what the presence of the Primus, the Primate of Canada, and the Presiding Bishop of TEC will have on the next gathering of Primates, or Primates' meeting, as the case may be.
