QC Cowper is a piece of legal work, alright; I suppose most lawyers are? He's walking a fine, if not completely imaginary line, urging that the judge acknowledge a split in order to apply the law of trusts, while discouraging the judge from looking too deeply into church details in order to determine just what sort of split exists. The big unanswered question still is: Why did divorce/remarriage not occasion an even bigger schism than blessings of gay couples legally married per civil laws? I've yet to hear any deep, serious reply to that lingering juxtaposition.

Prayer and thanks to Rev Florence for going where no Anglican had gone before. She's the real deal, no doubts about it.
