May I respectfully point out to Gareth Hughes that the Reverend Adam Smallbone donned a white chasuble over his more usual cassock-alb and stole when he celebrated the Midnight Mass at St. Saviour's. Alas the dignity of the occasion was much marred by revellers provoking Rev into performing a comic dance at the altar while singing an unauthorised version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.
At my own church the Broderers Guild is currently engaged in making new sets of Eucharistic vestments in all liturgical colours. I'm pleased to say that maniples, to emphasise the Servant ministry, will be included

Ah, Rowan Williams!
The finest Archbishop of Canterbury we never had!

It's enough to start believing that aliens possess your body when you cross over into England .............

I hope, Father David, that your vestment makers do not forget the broderie anglaise on the cottas.

Whatever happened to the Sarum Use in your parish?
