Comments: General Synod Questions and Answers

Are we going to get a transcript of these questions? I see there are comments from the ABC about them not being well handled - but I haven't read what was said. And I would like to.

Yes, I will publish a full report on the Questions, Answers, and Apology, but it won't be possible until Monday at the earliest.

Is there no audio of the questions?

Not yet. I am sure it will come in time...

Fr Thomas Seville CR gets this session's "Jo Spreadbury Prize" for flushing out the truth. His supplementary to Q.14 (answered by the Bishop of Truro) revealed that there was not one professional theologian in the room when the Green Report was being compiled. I find it arrogant beyond words that Tim Thornton thought it was remotely satisfactory to stand before Synod and answer by saying that he, James Langstaff, Lee Rayfield, John Sentamu, and Justin Welby were the theologians present. This simply proves that this whole process is being overseen by a bunch of self-selecting lightweight amateurs who seem to be deliberately shutting out those who might challenge their insipid discourse. Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe it.
