An excellent choice. If Dr Hesketh had been chosen the last time this post became vacant, as many in the diocese were hoping, they wouldn't have had to repeat the exercise so soon.

On his appointment as Archbishop of Canterbury the Press made much ado with regard to Robert Runcie's keeping of rare Berkshire pigs. Although once he moved from St Albans to Lambeth I very much doubt if he had much time to devote to being a Swineherd.
The Swineherd of Stow is given great prominence on the North pinnacle on the West Front of Lincoln cathedral - St. Hugh occupies the South pinnacle. I believe that the humble Swineherd is currently undergoing restoration. What an honour to be given so lofty acclaim.
