Both ENS and the Anglican Church of Canada have issued press releases about this event which occurred in Toronto recently. This was the third such conference to be held.

Posted by: Anna on Wednesday, 3 August 2005 at 3:26pm BSTFrom the website of the conference:
"Participants
There will be 500 Afro-Anglicans from across the diaspora representing various parts of the Anglican Communion. The Conference will cater for different levels of participation – delegates, visitors and attendees at public worship events. There will be considerable participation by youth and young adults."
ENS reports "more than 250 Black Anglicans from Africa and the diaspora" attended; ACC says there were over 270 "participants and visitors."
It would be interesting to know why the conference drew half of what was expected.
