The Church Times has this article: Dr Williams invites US bishops to an exchange of views by Pat Ashworth
The Church of England Newspaper has these articles:
New York summit to bridge American divide by George Conger
Not everything is negotiable ,says Archbishop by Ed Beavan
Martyn Minns consecrated a Nigerian Bishop in US
"Martyn Minns consecrated a Nigerian Bishop in US"
Um, just because the (notoriously biased) "Church of England" newspaper *says* so...

ABC and solo scripturalists' stance and conduct should redeem the Jews before God. One of my arguments has been that the Jews rejection of Christ and attempt to suppress the early church were based on wanting to be true to their theological roots and not to be seen to endorse a "heretical" branch of Judaism. In my prayers, I have argued to God that what the Jews did is what Christians would do when confronted with the same level of evidence. That is, it is an error caused by limited human understanding and trying to do the right thing when confronted with the new and unexpected.
The Anglican communion has managed to document reaching exactly the same conclusions as their Jewish ancestors - of refusing to discuss that which does not fit into the existing paradigms for fear of being rejected by God. Praise by to God, we have secular states and human rights that will hopefully stop them trying to purge those who can envisage beyond the now. Then we have AIDS which will force humanity to accept sexuality as it is and to adopt theological models that will be relevant to the future and not based on selfish myopic supremacist paradigms.
