At last! Why couldn’t Rev Henderson’s backers accept months ago that he is just too controversial to be suitable as Bishop ?
Dave, +Henderson was deemed fully suitable as Bishop by the People of God actually residing in Lake Malawi Diocese. For them, there was no controversy (until ++Malango et al intervened), let alone his being “too controversial” for them to consider him suitable to be their Bishop. ++Malango has thrown out their Spirit-filled choice, and dictatorially imposed someone not of the People of God’s choosing in that place. (Not surprising, though, given his bosom-buddyship with -Kunonga, a.k.a. the Bishop of Harare and the harlot of Mugabe.) Dear Nadine, a Bishop is supposed to be a Bishop for the whole church. At least he is supposed to be… ECUSA seems to think (until very recently) that the majority choice of diocesan Electors is all that matters.
As for whether making a bad decision in one area disqualifies one from making any decisions in future… I think that is a logical fallacy.
