I have been watching Rowan’s comments vis a vis this war with interest. I have been pleased to see that he is able to look beyond the surface to the dynamics behind e.g. civillians being kept in towns at gunpoint (that is not volunteering as human shields). This war has also been interesting for showing how people think, not just ABC, but also Bush/Blair with the G8 blunder.
