Simon talks about LLF. Sadly the book is still not available.

Thank you for this, but I had already done what you suggest. But a PDF of this length cannot be navigated, and so i don’t think I can use it effectively.

It seems that the viamedia.news website has a problem. I get an error message about domain name upgrade mapping.

I will presume to answer for the 35 Bishops who have not responded to the letter sent to them re LGBTIQ+ inclusion. The answer is – No. The LLF process is dead in the water, unsafe and anyone who believes in radical inclusion needs to act accordingly, network and build support now. I hope I’m proved wrong but don’t think I will be.

A number of TA contributors have signed the letter. Thank you. But unless something is done to make LLF safe, I agree with Marise: LLF is unsafe, there is nothing from the archbishops to address that, and LLF is therefore dead in the water.

I have a less negative view about LLF I think it can do some good. I don’t think it important that members of the minority group of LGBTQ Christians speak within LLF unless, of course, they want to. Thank goodness the media exposes the cruel hypocrisy of sanctimonious ‘christians’ who show what a waste of time LLF will prove to be.

That happened because the Bishop of London turns a blind eye to HTB.

You are correct, Kate. Evangelical money always trumps Christian principles.

What is interesting here is the lack of transparency. The church was not open and public about its views on gay relationships, and so the woman concerned was able to join the church and make significant friendships and relationships with the church community, so when she eventually found out about the negativity towards lesbian relationships it was quite traumatic. WATCH have made a similar point about those churches which do not accept the ministry of women priests and bishops. Quite often knowledge of that policy is kept to he incumbent and PCC. It is not unknown for a woman to… Read more »
