In his York Minster Trinity V sermon – Archbishop Rowan used the word “Frustratingly” once – “Frustrated” ten times and “Frustration(s)” sixteen times. Do you think he’s trying to tell us something?

The archbishop says the church is frustrated about women bishops and scratching its head over gay priests. It was his and Sentamu’s amendment which created the frustration and their letter to the government over same-sex marriage too. He is a leader, instead of scratching his head and telling us we are frustrated why isn’t he leading the way forward? Is that his legacy, a church mired in frustration and depression? Quite an achievement.

Your final link mentions Roman Williams? Is he heading to us?

I wonder how that happened, Ed. I’ve corrected it to Rowan.
